Donald Trump was speaking in Reno Nevada tonight, Saturday, 5 November when there was an apparent assassination attempt or other grave threat.
According to reports, a Hilary Clinton supporter attended the Trump campaign rally. In the middle of Trump’s speech, the man began to draw attention to himself and was noticed by Donald. “We have one of those guys from the Hillary Clinton campaign.” Then, adding from reports that the Clinton campaign is paying people to cause trouble at Trump’s rallies, “How much are you being paid, $1500?”
“Alright, take him out” Trump said, meaning for his security to remove the protester from the venue.
As the crazed man was being escorted out, Trump continued with his speech. Suddenly, Secret Service agents stormed the stage to cover Donald Trump. According to reports, the man attempted to pull a police officer’s sidearm from its holster to shoot Trump.
Donald looks confused for a moment as his agents pull him from the podium and off the stage.
As the election is only three days away and the race between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is very close, tensions between the respective candidates’ supporters are high. This is the first, and hopefully only, assassination attempt on any of the 2016 candidates.
After Trump is rushed off stage, there is pandemonium in the crowd.
Social media is ablaze with theories on who the would-be assassin is and where he came from. There are those who are speculating that the man was at least inspired by Trump recent rise in nation-wide polling. Since even more damaging emails came forth on Hillary Clinton, she has been losing support especially in key battleground states.
This election season has been very contentious and has polarized the American electorate into very fervent supporters on both sides. There have been isolated acts of violence at other Trump rallies and recent undercover videos have shown that the agitators are being paid to cause trouble by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Eventually, the man was escorted from the building and Trump returned to the stage and finished his speech. Afterward, Donald Trump posted on Facebook:
“I would like to thank the United States Secret Service and the law enforcement resources in Reno and the state of Nevada for their fast and professional response.
I also want to thank the many thousands of people present for their unwavering and unbelievable support. Nothing will stop us – we will make America great again!”
