What I want to do is show how what we have learned helps us understand what the Book of Revelation is talking about. But because some readers may not know what I have proven already and would have to go back over a week of posts to find it allow me to summarize that first. For their sake, then we will take a chapter in Isaiah and summarize it showing that it is talking about some of the same things as Revelation; here are some thing we proved:
1. Revelation is just a summary of all the prophecies in what is called the Old Testament
2. The order of events is that of the Fall feasts, which revelation shows being fulfilled
3. Yeshua (Jesus) did not start a new religion but came to see to it that all the things written before he came would one day be fulfilled. He indicated all that was written would be valid always.
4. Death is the punishment for sin
5. To end death is the purpose of the Gospel and not the separation of immortals souls to their perspective everlasting homes.
6. The order of events in the last days is (a) great tribulation (b) heavenly signs of the darkening of the sun, moon and stars. (c) the wrath of God to be poured out up on men who will have put His people through great tribulation.
7. God started off the church totally Jewish and Israelites and there is no time the church could possible be in heaven before the tribulation, so Go will end deal with both.
NOW in Isaiah the 52 chapter we see the things below that is in the book of Revelation:
(A) The Call to Jerusalem to AWAKE and that that never would the uncircumcised enter into it again. This is still Future and can be only when God is finish with them.
(B) That she will have sold herself with out money and will be redeemed with out money (Watch out for the Idea of Nathanyahu and Trump to make Jerusalem become an international city as the Pope has called for) supposedly making peace.
(C) His People will one day know His name.. Yet when Christ comes in Revelation.. He still up and until then, have a name written that no man knew. Oh I know loads of people think they know. This again shows when this will take place.
(D) Verse 7 alludes to the 144,000 of Revelation and their future preaching of the gospel It also refers to the fact that it declares the Rulership of Christ on earth.
(E) Verse 10 shows that like God bared his arm to bring out His people from Egypt, at the time mentioned He will bare it to the whole world.
(F) Because of His baring of his arm, all the nations as shown in verse 10 will as a whole learn salvation. This is pictured in Revelation chapter 7.
(G) Verses 11 and 12 speaks of the call away from anything unclean.. Like revelation is calling people away from the Mark of the beast… Listen, there is nothing except breaking the Commands of God that can defile you. This is what the Mark of the beast is. How do I know, because Revelation says the ones that will be free from the Mark, has the testimony of Christ and keep the commands of God. RIGHT THERE.. He told the secret; Only those who break the commands of God can have the mark.
(H) Verses 13 through 15 Mentions the suffering of the Messiah and how the final message to the whole world will NOT be the gospel they were used to hearing.
Most all the prophets and many other chapters of Isaiah, like the prophecies of theirs are about our day and the future. There are cues that tell you when it has to take place; just like I showed above. Now read Isaiah 52.
ISAIAH CHAPTER 52
1 ¶ Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
4 For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I.
7 ¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no uncleanthing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.
13 ¶ Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
14 As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
