THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS when Government leaders no longer know from whence comes our rights. They have also spent a couple generations teaching the population a lie. That Lie is that officials and especially the Supreme Court grants our rights. Not even the Constitution grants us our rights.
There is but two places from whence rights can come:
1. From God
2. From man
Dr. Eric Walsh, a lay minister who is suing the Georgia Department of Public Health for religious discrimination has been ordered by the state’s attorney general to relinquish his sermons to the government, according to federal court documents.
“Please produce a copy of your sermon notes and/or transcripts,” Attorney General Samuel Olens wrote to attorneys representing Dr. Eric Walsh.
Rightfully, Dr. Walsh has refused to comply with the State’s request.
“No government has the right to require a pastor to turn over his sermons,” Walsh said in an interview with Fox News. “I cannot and will not give up my sermons unless I am forced to do so.”
Walsh, a Seventh-day Adventist lay minister had been hired in May 2014 by as a District Health Director with the Georgia Department of Public Health. A week later, a government official asked him to submit copies of his sermons for review. He complied and two days later he was fired.
His attorneys said the government was curious about sermons Dr. Walsh delivered on health, marriage, sexuality, world religions, science and creationism. He also preached on what the Bible says regarding homosexuality.
The founders built the nation upon the idea that all rights come from God and that those rights are self evident and can be seen in the demonstrable laws of nature by all. As the writer of the Declaration of independence put it.
“A free people [claim] their rights as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate.” –Thomas Jefferson: Rights of British America, 1774. ME 1:209, Papers 1:134
We the people must restore the Government to its original foundation or as Jefferson indicated, we abide in the arena of Tyranny. And Tyranny is what we we are getting more and more of, because there is no longer an absolute demonstrable standard. We have replaced it with what is in the mind of a few men which changes over time and could change daily. This is one of the major reasons why an Article V Convention of States is necessary. It is also why I have submitted 2 amendment proposals to deal with this very matter. TO RESTORE what Jefferson knew was done and few any longer understand; And almost no one includes that standard of natural law in their thinking when make laws or court decisions. Until this singular foundation is restored, all other repairs, remain but temporary fixes against an over bearing government. My Amendments would make what is being done to this preacher CLEARLY illegal forever!

ALSO GET INVOLVED with this 50 state Convention of States movement: No President can solve this, we must. We the People need to stand up and remind the government they are our servants.
